Countdown to the Cross of Christ
We've entered the Lenten season, which is to say, Zion has begun it's countdown to Easter -- the day celebrating Jesus' resurrection from the dead! Every Sunday, during the morning service, a Lenten reflection is read and one of seven Lenten candles are extinguished. The final candle will be snuffed out on Good Friday in remembrance of Christ's death on the cross. On Easter Sunday, all seven candles will be relit signifying the new life that Jesus brings into world. You are invited to join us for our Lenten service this Sunday at 10 a.m. followed by Growth Groups for all ages.
